Q: Do you accept cash?

We have a small amount of cash, however we are asking visitors to use card wherever possible, including at the gift shop and café bar.

Q: How do I make a group booking?

For school bookings please visit our school trip page. To have an out-of-this-world birthday party, visit our birthday packages page. For standard group bookings for families, friends, work socials etc, you can book up to 70 people by visiting our tickets page. For exclusive hire or groups of more than 70 people, contact us.

Q: Do you allow photography?

Please contact info@wakethetiger.com for photography inquiries.

Q: Do you allow dogs?

We welcome assistance dogs and can provide bowls for them. These are provided at the Main Entrance. The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is located in the park across the road from the attraction. Due to the nature of the venue, we are unable to permit entry to assistance dogs in training. Please note there are loud noises, mist effects and smells (nothing nasty!) that may be confusing for assistance animals. Assistance dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Q: Is the experience air-conditioned?

The experience has ventilation and heating, and there is air-conditioning in Junktion Café Bar.

Q: Can children go in unaccompanied?

Only those aged 16+ can enter Wake The Tiger. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note, only ticketholders can enter Wake The Tiger, including Junktion Café Bar.

Q: Do you have a risk assessment for the experience?

Wake The Tiger does not complete Health & Safety forms or risk assessments for other businesses, schools or groups. However we do recognise that some establishments require risk assessments to be carried out prior to any visit or trip. We have created a risk assessment of Wake The Tiger which you can access on our website. Additionally we welcome one person free of charge to visit ahead of the group booking if they need to complete their own risk assessment. Please contact us if you would like to arrange this.

Can I visit the Wunderground bar & kitchen before or after Absurd City?

Answer

Yes. The Wunderground Bar & Kitchen is a great place to stop for food or drinks before or after exploring Wake The Tiger London, Absurd City.

Is the Wunderground bar & kitchen suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Answer

The Wunderground offers a range of food and drink options. Check the current menu for the latest vegetarian, vegan and dietary options.

Are there quiet spaces?

Answer

Absurd City is designed as an immersive environment, so there can be periods of sound, lighting effects and activity.

We are also developing dedicated Calm Sessions, designed for visitors who may find the experience overwhelming during general admission, including SEND and neurodivergent visitors.

Can I buy an Absurd City ticket as a gift?

Answer

Yes. Absurd City gift vouchers are available and can be redeemed online against a future visit.

Gift vouchers are valid for 365 days, giving the recipient plenty of flexibility to choose their date and time.

Answer

After Hours is Absurd City after dark, with the experience open exclusively to visitors aged 18+ on selected evenings until midnight.

Explore 80,000 sq ft of immersive art, hidden spaces and interactive installations without the kids around. You can grab food, drinks or cocktails at the Wunderground Bar & Kitchen throughout the evening too - either before or after you explore.

Do I need an Absurd City ticket to visit the Wunderground Bar & Kitchen?

Answer

No. You don't need an Absurd City ticket to visit the Wunderground Bar & Kitchen.

It's a themed bar and kitchen inside Absurd City, so you can visit for food and drinks even if you're not exploring the main experience. Enter through the front foor (1st floor, next to M&S) and you'll be directed through.

Answer

We are completely cashless, with all ticket bookings, food and beverage, and retail purchases handled seamlessly via digital and card payments.

How do I make group bookings?

Answer

For standard group bookings for families, friends or work socials alike, you can book up to 200 people per 30 minute slots yourself, by visiting our tickets page here.

Do you allow photography?

Answer

You are more than welcome to take photos and videos as long as it is not for commercial gain. If it is, please contact london@wakethetiger.com with more details. When filming or taking photos, please be respectful of others around you. Make sure to tag us on socials and share the love!

Question 17

Is the experience suitable for children?

Answer

Yes, children of all ages are welcome. The experience does include some dark spaces, lighting effects and soundscapes which could be scary for some more sensitive and very young viewers. That said we have had a number of adventurous young children who love their experience with us. Please note pushchairs must be left in the buggy park and we ask that babies be placed in carriers.

Do you have any lockers or a cloakroom?

Answer

Yes there are lockers available for hire to secure small rucksacks, handbags, shopping bags and coats. Please note, we cannot store luggage and large bags. Please arrange storage of these before your arrival.

Can pushchairs be taken through the experience?

Answer

We do not allow pushchairs into the experience due to space restrictions, however there is a buggy park upon entry. Please note all items are left at the owner's risk.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Answer

Only food and drink purchased in onsite may be consumed, other than baby food or for medical reasons. No food or drink is allowed in the experience itself.

Where does the name Wake The Tiger come from?

Answer

The name was inspired by the book ‘Waking The Tiger’ by Peter Levine. It explores themes of trauma and transformation. It is about awakening that fierce, powerful part within ourselves to drive change.The vision behind it is beautifully symbolic; on one side, a strong and fierce animal, and on the other, a playful, cuddly cub. Wake The Tiger represents the balance between these two – fierce yet playful, powerful yet approachable.

What is an Amazement Park®?

There is nothing quite like our experiences. We didn’t fit into a stereotypical theme or amusement park. We aren’t an art gallery or exhibition. However we do AMAZE and it is quite literally like A MAZE, so what better name than for us to coin the name Amazement Park®.

Do you have a cafe or bar on site?

Answer

Yes, it's called the Nowhere Bar + Kitchen. You can enjoy delicious food and drink, carefully curated to bring the creative flair of the experience to your plate.

As part of our ethos we are meat-free and source everything as locally as possible, reducing our carbon footprint.

You can enter at any time before, after or during your exploration if you need some time out. You do not require a ticket to enjoy the Nowhere Bar + Kitchen.

Yes. Infants under 3 can visit Absurd City free of charge.

Yes, subject to availability. However, booking online in advance is recommended if you want to secure a particular date and time.

While bookings are non-refundable as per our T&Cs, if you purchased X Cover’s refund protection you can apply for a refund through their website.

Do you allow walk-ups of must I book a ticket?

Answer

We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred timeslot and avoid disappointment. However, if availability allows, you're very welcome to visit us as a walk-in.

Do you offer concession tickets?

Answer

We will be introducing concessions for students and Blue Light holders after the special introductory price period has ended, which will be closer to opening in October.

Can I amend my booking?

Answer

Amends to your booking can only be made up to 48 hours before arrival and is subject to availability. One amend request will be completed free of charge, after this an amend fee of £5.00 will be incurred every time an amend is requested and carried out.

Do you offer Carer tickets?

Answer

Yes, carers come for free when supporting someone who requires assistance round the experience. When you buy tickets just select a carer ticket.

We ask you to please bring one of the following with you: Letter/notice of entitlement for Disability, Living Allowance, Letter from your person’s doctor, Blue parking badge or Freedom Pass, DID or Access card, Rainbow Resource card, Pink card or PIP.

Is Wake The Tiger accessible for mobility aid users?

Answer

We have designed the park with accessibility in mind. There are some areas that have tighter spaces which may be harder to navigate around with a wheelchair, however most areas have alternative routes for manual wheelchair use. Due to the tighter spaces we do not allow mobility scooters and pushchairs round the experience. We have a manual wheelchair available to borrow for those who need to arrive using a large mobility vehicle or electric scooter but are able to transfer to a manual wheelchair. Please contact us prior to booking your tickets to ensure this is available for you.

Can babies and toddlers visit Absurd City?

Answer

Yes. Babies and toddlers are welcome at Absurd City.

Due to the layout of the experience, pushchairs cannot be taken through the experience, but there is a buggy park at the entrance. We recommend using a baby carrier where possible.

Is Absurd City suitable for teenagers?

Answer

Yes. Wake The Tiger's Absurd City is designed for all ages, and teenagers can explore the experience independently, follow the story, interact with the installations and search for hidden secrets.

How long does the experience take?

Answer

It is a self-guided, non-linear experience, where you can spend 2-3 hours exploring. You are not limited by the number of times you can go round the experience. You can also take a break anytime, either using the seating dotted through the experience or in the Nowhere Bar + Kitchen.

Are there actors in the experience?

The experience is self-led to encourage visitors to explore wherever they want at a relaxed pace. We have Immersive Performers who serve as in-world guides to help you get the most out of your visit. They are available to offer assistance, share their knowledge about the story and art, and enjoy chatting with all our visitors.
